This pen is battery powered which means you do not need a rectifier to power it & it can be used anywhere. When the batteries run out simply replace the batteries.

Another feature of the pen is the addition of a collet which hold the tip. This prevents flow-back of the solution into the pen body & provides a highly conductive interface between the plating solution & the tip.

Further improvements in the gold solution also mean you’ll find gold pen plating small areas such as jewellery, watch cases, small coins & repairing contacts on printed circuit boards even faster & more efficient.
